Ok, I didn't realize you can get autorisation for any power you need. I've quess your beans is growing very fast there... :) The single ideea I have is to use a FSK modulation. If your temperature sensor has an analogic output, read it, convert it in anything you need (ASCII, hexa, etc) modulate it as FSK and connect it to your audio in (if you have such input). I've played only with some small 433MHz talkie walkie and tested a voice link at about 10Km LOS. But there where hardly perturbated by a 2.4/5.6Ghz equipments under tests...
