Short of doing a full blown switcher, rather do just an LDO and feed from my 3.3V or 2.5V source I have.  Years ago, I had used a part that was designed to be a DDR termination voltage, where you give it a reference and it drives out half that reference but I can't find the part now.
   
  So, anyone know of an LDO that can give half the reference voltage on its output?
