Right now I'm knee deep in putting the final touches onto the USBProg software, firmware, and release and install procedures. (It is going nicely. We just created what we think is the shippable version of the Windows device driver, and the remaining software/firmware support for features now made possible by the driver are about half done. This includes a non-volatile user-settable name string for each device so that multiple devices can be addressed on the USB. Unlike with RS-232, there isn't anything equivalent to a COM port number to identify which of multiple identical devices you want to access.) Once the USBProg is out, I'll probably work on adding support for more PICs for a while. Of course in the mean time all the source is open, and someone else can add support for their favorite PIC if they really want to badly enough. ****************************************************************** Embed Inc, Littleton Massachusetts, (978) 742-9014. #1 PIC consultant in 2004 program year. http://www.embedinc.com/products -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
