Another possible "miracle cure". Hopefully this will prove more useful than many such. Tests with mice indicate that the effects of multiple sclerosis are substantially mitigated or even reversed by daily does of Nicotinamide / Vitamin B3. Results look extremely encouraging, but results in mice may well not translate well to people. My personal observation only is that a look at Nicotinamide's safety sheet http://www.pdrhealth.com/drug_info/nmdrugprofiles/nutsupdrugs/nic_0183.shtml suggests that it is usually fairly benign. As it is freely available as a "vitamin" supplement a MS sufferer might consider investigating using it to see what if any effects it has. All the normal caveats apply - IANAD, seek professional medical advice, YMMV, do not spindle, staple, fold or mutilate, ... . If I (knew I) had MS I know what I'd be doing.
