Two trivial prize money competitions for a NASA sponsored Lunar Lander wannabee. The top competition with a prize of [only] $US2 million requires a go-land-return flight under specified conditions with a total flight "hover" time of 180 seconds. Lest this sound trivial. the original "real" Lunar Landers would not have been capable of this feat and a rocket has never yet been built that could. Look for that to change next month. http://www.space.com/news/060822_lunar_challenge.html Look for these people to win it, or have their lander die trying www.armadilloaerospace.com RM -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
