hi everybody, I am planning to use a pic16F628 and before that I look for a programmer th= at I can build easily, so I found the elcheapo (the circuit works for 16F62= 8). My question is about the circuit schematics: http://www.myke.com/elcheapo.htm As it said in the programming specification, this pic can be used in two pr= gramming mode: LV(low voltage) or HV(high voltage). and for each of these m= odes, we have to respect a rule when powering up the pic (a certain steps, = example for HV: raising first Vpp then Vdd). in this example, the elcheapo = use a HV and it seems to me that it doesn't respect this rule. Can anyone help to unsertand this issue? I have also another question, if any of you have a source code examples for= the software that drives a pic programmer circuit, and want to share it, p= lease send me a link. thank you in advance best regards, Mustapha ELKEJBOUT --------------------------------------- "Every one has to do what he can do according to how it can be truly done" For whom the bell tolls, Ernest Hemingway. = --------------------------------- D=E9couvrez un nouveau moyen de poser toutes vos questions quelque soit le= sujet !
