Hi All

Well I was happily putting the finishing touches on my RF level control code
with my ISRs loaded where I thought they would cause no troubles.

You guessed it my troubles are back.

So I'm thiniking that the whole ISR thing was a red herring and that what is
really happening is that I'm just running out of resources stack size or
something.

I increased my stack size to 0x200 for 0x100  bytes but that did not help.
(changed the linker script and added -ls to the compiler command line
option)

I changed to a large memory model with no results there either ,...( I added
-ml to the compiler command line option I'm more than a little fuzzy on the
ramifications of this )

 

Then I noticed that it I build my code and program the device run the device
the device it exhibits the problem.

I can halt the device and it will continue to exhibit the problem.

If I cycle power and then teel the debugger to run it exhibits the problem.

If I halt the program and leve the power alone and reset the processor the
problem is fixed and now my code works just dandy?

 

How is a pwr on reset or a reset from a fresh programing different than
issuing a reset from the debugger menu?

 

 

 

I had the PWRT = OFF 

So I thought that maybe power on reset timer might help me here.

I switched it to PWRT = ON

But that did not help.
