Guy sounds like a nut job. (but he can't be)

Imagine it the other way around. Say last week an explorer
from the lost Tsohon-djapa tribe "discovered" Galveston by
rowing up the Amazon and drifting into the Gulf Of Mexico

Who's history would he write ?
