  China - An ancient Chinese map unveiled in Beijing o=ADn Monday may prove=
 it was a Chinese eunuch who first discovered America, seven decades before=
 Columbus stumbled upon the new world.

The map, which has gone o=ADn display in Beijing, is said to be a 1763 copy=
 of a much older map dating back to 1418. The map clearly depicts Africa, E=
urope and the Americas.

If Thompson is right, Admiral Zheng may have beaten Columbus by at least 74=
 years, and 500 years of history would have to be rewritten.
