This is what I was going to suggest. I use PDF995 as my Windows PDF printer. The whole DRM thing is really annoying and I'm actively avoiding known DRM "infected" files as much as possible. Even Microchip datasheets now prohibit things like extracting a single page -- which I often do in Acrobat to, for instance, send a package drawing of a chip to my PCB designer. It's ridiculous to have to send him a numerous multi-megabyte files just so he can have a handful of mechanical drawings. I like printing to PDF files so well now that PDF995 is setup as my default printer and I then print to hardcopy when/if I decide to... I think a lot of the overly restrictive DRM crap like Vitaly describes is exactly like the HP "mysteriously expiring" inkjet cartridges. Some marketing geniuses' spreadsheets said they could extract a wee bit more money from their unsuspecting suck... err customers if they had a few "accidents" along the way. Never mind that the customer didn't even get what they paid for the first time! "Printer jammed while printing our DRM infested document? To bad, so sad... guess you'll have to pay for it again!"
