Hi Everyone,

MPLab V7.4 crashed on me recently.  After it did, I found that I could no 
longer use the simulator normally to test code.  The simulator will process 
code in the background but I don't get the functions normally available like 
breakpoints and the program counter arrow in the main code window.  The 
Watch window values are updated but this makes it really difficult to track 
the program flow.  Working with 16 and 12 series chips it works fine.

Microchip tech support recommended a complete uninstall and registry clean 
then reinstall.  I did this but saw no difference.  I don't know if the 
sim18.DLL file was corrupted or if the problem is elsewhere but nobody seems 
to be able to come up with a solution.  If anyone could offer any 
suggestions I'd love to hear them.
