If you've got a working Wisp628 (using the "voti-standard" 1.09 formware), you just use that to program another 628A with the 1.10 (or 1.11) firmware from Rob. Then power down and swap chips. The old 1.09 chip can be saved until the next formware update... After the 1.10/1.11 have been installed, your Wisp628 supports the 18F chip you're using. And I'd recomend XWisp2, easy to use and fast.
