I'm not saying to share the *substed* drive, niether to *subst* a mapped one. In the host machine fake a x: drive with subst over a new folder NETHOST (eg) copy the whole applet directory there and test if the applet runs. The applet will "see" x: What you will share is c:\NETHOST, not X:\xxx!. This can be done ok!. Then go to the guest machine, map \\pc\NETHOST to x: (no subst is needed here) Hope it helps.
