I dislike the price and the IC package choice though. velleman do a board with a USB port, a pic and some digital IO (they sell it as an IO interface but its based on one of the 16 series USB pics and with some very minor changes can be used with one of the 18 series USB pics) but it has no serial and it would take pretty severe modification to make it in circuit programmable. if a 28 pin pic is enough for you then sparkfun sell the USB bit whacker http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=762, there version of the board doesn't seem to have a specific ICSP/ICD connection (despite thier circuit diagram showing it, i've e-mailed them to check this out) but it does have all the signals needed for programming brought out to pads. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
