I thought this was a PIC list not an AVR list... ;^) Quite coincidently I just learned about the AVR Butterfly Wednesday evening at a local computer club monthly meeting. Since I am PIC centered, I (mostly) ignore things ATMEL. I do intend to learn more about the Butterfly, but I cannot answer your question since I have just found out about it. I am highly impressed with the unit cost. I am anxious to learn what the Butterfly contains (circuitry, features), but it grinds my sensibilities since I am PIC centered. It is one of those "religious" choices like: 1) emacs vs vi (vim) 2) MicroSoft vs Unix 3) MicroChip vs ATMEL So, you can see why I would be conflicted. Isn't this silly?
