Thank you, Peter, yes, now that I realize how to address a byte in the RAM, this section makes a lot more sense to me. I have just been blind for this because I did not realize that all the variables are just places in the RAM. somehow I was under the impression that variables have a different space (and a different method of addressing) than RAM.
