AFAICS they are largely dealing with the camera-PC interface and at best camera control. I have enough of that side to suit me well enough. Just as well as they don't seem to have my cameras on their supported cameras list. What I am after is the beyond-the-camera protocol to the flash - a communications system in its own right. I have looked fairly extensively to see if I can find anything on this but so far have found only the pinout of the connector. I anticipate that it can't be TOO hard to determine basic functionality as long as they haven't purposefully encrypted it - which is a distinct possibility.
