If you're in a EU coutry yourself and you are buying them privately, you pay the Irish (UK ?) VAT (aprox 17%, right ?). If you're in a EU coutry yourself and you are running a VAT registred company in your own (EU-) country, you can ask Microchip *not* to add VAT.
