Subject: Re: [OT]:Machining At that price you might find it cost effective to buy a small metal working lathe and some aluminium (cheap) and do it yourself I needed some parts made for my motorbike and found it less hassle to buy a lathe and spin up the parts myself. The beauty of it - when you next need a part you think nothing of popping out to the garage/shed and making it out of scrap. If you only make a few parts you can always get (nearly) all of your money back by selling the lathe. Lastly - aluminium is really really really easy to work with !
