I see that as a plus ;-)

Seems like a large percentage of my designs fit nicely in the 44 to
64+ pin TQFP offerings from Microchip, Atmel and TI. A lot of the
designs have had little hardware other than a supervisor chip, local
regulator and a few other signal conditioning and buffering circuits
as required. Pretty close to a "one chip design" except for interface
components. That's awfully efficient to manufacture.

Evidently I'm not the only one whose designs are a good fit for these
packages...
