> Just looked into LM723. The output current is a bit too low. The LM723 is often (mostly?) used with an extrenal series transistor. Just add a beefy NPN that can spllies some Beta and can handle the dissipated Watts. Those were the days .... my home-build power supply is still somewhere on my desk, probably behind the pipes with various ICs.
