FWIW, I almost always take the train to trade shows and such in
San Francisco.  Even if I drive to the trains station and pay
for parking there, the train ticket plus parking is likely to be
less $ than merely PARKING in SF.  The train ride is somewhat
longer IF there are no traffic problems, and it's about a mile to
Moscone from the SF trains station (some shows provide shuttle
buses, but they tend to be timed inconveniently.)  Driving and
parking in the city can be extremely stressful...
