Whether Dave was doing anything illegal is irrelevant. The tech doesn't have the power to be judge, jury and executioner, and especially not on Dave's private property. There's a process to go through. If it's criminal you call the cops, if it's civil you call the office and they get lawyer on to it. Maybe suspend the service.
