So, this has almost come up several times, and I'm curious.  We
have a relatively international community here, and I'd like to
take a survey.

1) How do you commute to work?
Car, single occupant.  Work provides the car, I provide the gas.


2) How far?
12 kilometers.

3) How long does it take in each direction?
About 15 minutes when there is no traffic.  From 30 to 45 minutes if there is.

4) If you don't use public transportation, IS there a public
    transportation alternative?  How long would THAT take?
Yes there is an alternative, but there would be 3 or 4 bus transfers in a roundabout way, so it isn't practical at all from where I live.  However here in Helsinki there is really good public transportation.
