Does commuting to university count? >> 1) How do you commute to work? Train there, bus and train back. >> 2) How far? About 20 miles by road. Roughly 16 as the crow flies. >> 3) How long does it take in each direction? Outbound (to uni): 15 minutes walk to the train station, about half an hour on the train (plus 5-15 minutes between trains), 10 minutes walk. Usually just over an hour in total. Inbound (coming home): 10 minutes walk to the train station, half an hour on the train, bus from the train station home (less walking!). Total of about an hour, depending on how many %#$*ing buses go right past the stop without, um, stopping. -- Phil. | Kitsune: Acorn RiscPC SA202 64M+6G ViewFinder philpem@dsl.pipex.com | Cheetah: Athlon64 3200+ A8VDeluxeV2 512M+100G http://www.philpem.me.uk/ | Tiger: Toshiba SatPro4600 Celeron700 256M+40G -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
