Car - just me.

35 miles each way - when some roadworks finish and a road reopens
(supposedly on 1st Sept.), it'll be down to 33.5 miles again.

Approx. 1 hour -  49 mins. is the fastest I've managed, it has been up to 75
minutes - depends on road works, number of tractors or other slow vehicles
encountered, school holidays, weather, etc., etc.

Nothing practical - I'd have to catch a bus to Dublin, then another bus or
train - first bus would take about 1 hour, then between 30 mins and 1 hour
for train (intercity or stop-everywhere commuter), plus
a walk at each end, so not practical at all.

The only positive thing I can say about my commute is that we're moving
office soon, to somewhere a bit nearer, and I intend to work more often from
home.   Once or twice a month I spend a day at a different office, which
involves an 18 mile drive (25 mins), a 40 minute flight and a 15-min taxi
trip at the far end.
