'92 Honda Civic.  <$4000 total purchase price, 31 MPG on low octane gas.
This is the least environmentally damaging option available to me.

Single occupant. My entry has been listed on the "Commuter computer" for
many moons with no match.

4 days a week, 10 hour days. I took a small pay cut to not have to commute
Wednesdays.

I would do that. Bicycle to the station, lock up the bike, etc...
