From my preliminary perusal of HMDs, they seem ridiculously expensive and awkward. Does anyone have advice about HMDs ? I think I want a single eye display that one can "look through" easily if the display is dimmed. I think I want 1/4 VGA or better. Maybe it could mount on some glasses or googles or maybe on a baseball cap "bill". One display I was looking at seems to have a pretty cool interface. http://www.onestopdisplays.net/oled.php OSD-2828OGDEAF01 128 x RGB x 128 36.00 x 36.00 x 1.60 mm 1.50 inch 262k colors, 18 bpp COF SSD1339 Has anyone used the COF SSD1339 interface ? http://www.solomon-systech.com/products/ssd1339.htm I was imagining rolling my own optics. Once again, the developments system prices I saw were in the $8K price range.
