Did I ask this before? Maybe, if so my EEPROM data retention is not too good. Back when I was working for a company the electronic department used the term "bestuck option" (with an umlaut) to indicate a PCB that could be populated in different ways to serve different purposes, like form instance having either an RS232 or an RS485 interface (but not both). Is there a common English term for this?
