I like Project Gutenberg http://www.gutenberg.org/ with its 18,000 free
books provided as plain text files.

There are also some free audio books there but a better collection of free
audio books is at http://librivox.org/.

For 39,464 free movies, 37,712 live music concerts, 90,125 audio recordings
and, 30,562 texts (includes most of the Project Gutenberg collection) visit
http://www.archive.org.
