Some years ago I picked up a 8-bit logic analyzer from
   http://www.rockylogic.com

Don't know if they have anything for your SPI/I2C needs.  But it has been a
useful piece of test equipment for my needs (mostly PIC work).  Is PC based;
decent 'window', IMHO.  Have both 8- and 16-bit models.
