They are of course entirely entitled to charge for anything they wish (public domain or other) BUT it would be nice if they said what was really free up front. Classic titles appear to be entirely free. Files come in zipped and "EXE" form. I am (understandably) wary of running exe files from unknown sources but these seem to be benign, well behaved and easier to use than the zipped versions. YMMV !!!! That said, the files are somewhat clunky in operation. I think that a straight single text or HTML file would be superior. For example, "The collected poems of Rupert Brooke" (s?) has no index and is hard to find your way around. "The Space Pioneers" is not what it sounds and is unlikely to be of interest to many.
