I get 4' x 8' white bathroom panels for dry erase boards. They are around $10 each, and work very well for the purpose. I also use permanent markers on them for lines and rules - they don't erase with a dry eraser, but can be removed by overwriting them with a dry erase marker. Good for calendars, project and task lists, etc. Most of the board is open for freeform use. They don't attract magnets like the expensive "professional" dry erase boards do, but I use hard drive magnets to locate nails beneath the board if I really must hang paper from it. http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=16605-19-16605&lpage=none Zip code 48104. This is one example, I believe. Hard to tell from the online picture - I just stop by and look at them. Most large hardware stores will carry something similar, and will cut it for you. -Adam On 8/14/06, Gus S Calabrese wrote: > Does dry erase marker slime erase off formica ? > It does come off appliances , so I assume they have some kind of > epoxy paint finish .... > Anyone have suggested board material that is cheap ? > > Gus S Calabrese > 4337 Raleigh Street > Denver, CO > 720 222 1309 303 908 7716 cell > adding "spam2006" bypasses my spam blocker.
