Thanks, Vitaliy. The graphic design for the website was done by BinaryPulse, an outside tech marketing firm. After they delivered templates of the site, we filled in the technical content. The web store is provided by Volusion. QSI was founded by an engineer (not me) who over the last 20 years has been designing and building custom cameras and electronic accessories for the asto-imaging field. About two years ago the decision was made to develop and manufacture a line of cameras for the greater market. We've put together a team to accomplish that goal. The official announcement of our product line will be next week at AstroImage 2006 in Brea, CA. http://www.ocastronomers.org/astroimage/2006/ If you, or any other piclister, are in Southern California next week, please come by AstroImage and say hello. Regards, Dave Challis BTW, the embedded controller in the cameras are, of course, 18F series chips. -----Original Message----- From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] On Behalf Of Vitaliy Sent: Friday, August 04, 2006 10:09 PM To: Microcontroller discussion list - Public. Was it designed by an in-house team, or by an outside company? Also, I'm always interested in hearing about how new companies get started. Maybe you can tell us more about who QSI is?
