This is Picdude, operating under a different name until I figure out why I
can't get piclist emails still.

Trying to figure out what exactly is the required land pattern for a
resistor array, using the datasheet.  The datasheet is 
http://www.panasonic.com/industrial/components/pdf/aoc0000ce1.pdf here  ,
but for simplicity, I've cut and pasted sections from the datasheet and put
it  www.narwani.net/neil/stuff/Panasonic-V8V-DS-Q.gif here .

The sections are separated by the purple lines.  The first shows the
recommended land patterns, and the second shows the component dimensions. 
In the third section, I've copied the land pattern diagram and coloured in
some sections.  From the dimensions specified, it would appear that the red
section is the actual pad, but then what is the yellow section?  And in
general what is the blue section?
