Note that Word (97 & up) converts this internally to a PNG anyway.  

Also, don't manipulate images in Word (eg resize), it'll make your document
bigger.  Word keps two versions of the image, the original, and the modified
one.  That's how 'reset picture' works.  Change the image, then 'save as'
HTML.  You'll see both versions in the _Files folder.
