Hi, I'll test with full screen mode, I like simple solutions :-) And if it doesn't work I'll try with Cadint, but the demo version is limited to only 250 pins, which might not be enough for next project... So, if I can get the fullversion of EED working on xp... Maybe I'll keep the 486 a while... Thanks everyone. I'll get back with a report... I havn't got it working in a DOS window but it works great in full screen mode (can switch back and forth with Alt+Tab). I am also using a VESA graphics driver that enables me to use the cad in much higher resolution than with the original PC graphics driver. However, this is only working with some graphics cards or, as I suspect, with the graphics driver for some cards (supporting the VESA standard). The guy who made the VESA driver also supplied me with a modified version of the CADINT.EXE file which, according to him, was fixed to work better with newer operating systems (windows). I have also noticed that when I run some other programs that uses the serial port before I start the CAD, the CAD won't start until I reboot the computer. I havn't been able to fix that yet. But I really feel that I should change to another CAD system. The problem is that I don't know which one and I never seem to find the time to evaluate the different packages.
