Okay ...... the stuff is doomed unless opened to the light of day. Get a good MACRO camera for less than $200 or I will loan you one. ( PS my daughter lives in Oregon ) Take picture under very controlled lighting ( a room closed off from outside with a location in it with very uniform light. ) Open box , lay part on neutral background, mark yellow stickie with sequential number ( 1, 2,3 ....) take picture of part number, or part in general and include stickie in photo. put part back in box or on shelf or in bigger box ( containing items 345 thru 490 ) along with stickie stuck to part. Wait for bid of $1,000,000 for original edison light bulb. AGSC On 2006-Aug 02, at 13:25hrs PM, James Newtons Massmind wrote: Pickup unlabeled box with tube in it. Open box, unpack tube. Some are in tissue paper, most just in the box. Turn this way and that in the bright light until you can read the faintly printed part number. Perhaps it would show up on the photograph, but I doubt it. Repack the tube, close the box. Rinse, repeat. Same with the books. You have to take each one down, photo, put it back. But there are probably 200 or 300 books. Well, a lot of them have the title on the spine so I guess it isn't that bad. I tried to take pictures of them one year, but my camera was just not up to the job. Most of the pictures of the property and machines are ok, but the books and parts and tools are not sufficiently clear to be of use. Let me know if you want to see them. --- James. > -----Original Message----- > From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu > [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] On Behalf Of Gus S Calabrese > Sent: 2006 Aug 02, Wed 05:21 > To: Microcontroller discussion list - Public. > Subject: Re: [ee] Cleaning the garage virtual storage > Importance: Low > > Have someone photo everything and put on website for others > to sort through. > No organization... just photos > > > On 2006-Jul 31, at 18:57hrs PM, James Newtons Massmind wrote: > > > This is a really...
