On the project I'm working on, I'm considering going to a graphic LCD
display.  I've looked at many displays that included a controller such as
the T6963 or KS0108, but none of those displays work mechanically due to
space constraints.  I've found a few displays that will work with my space
constraints and display resolution requirements; however, they don't have
onboard controller chips.  One requirement I have is bitmap fonts that are
larger than the typical 8x8 fonts that are supported in the graphic LCD
controllers that have been around for a long time.  So... Can anyone tell me
what are the latest and greatest controller chips?  Are there any available
that would support large fonts?
