information will also be useful for identifying fake drives from other 
sources.

Fake USB Flash drives may falsely report size as far larger than 
actual and may appear to write over an extended period but really be 
discarding your data. Data write and readback of a disk full of files 
is one test. Checking programs exist.

counterfeit.
