I did not use a "google discussion group". My post was directly to the Piclist which is mirrored (with out list owner's permission as I understand things, I'm sure the list administrators will correct me if I'm mistaken) by a Google group. Posts on the Piclist are supposed to be available only to registered posters. To that end, I did report the over etch. However as it was such a small percentage of boards and the the boards were 2oz and had relatively narrow traces, over-etching was a distinct possibility. There was enough overage in the order to cover the issue. The only serious complaint was that the so-called "electrical" testing did not stop all defective boards from appearing in the order. What is your definition of "electrical testing". Is it limited to checking that plated-through holes conduct to both sides or do you reverse the Gerber file into conductivity maps? Thank you for the comments you have given on our behalf. We certainly appreciate it. As far as the overetching on the boards you received, I checked my records and show that you did not mention it to us. This is the first time I'm hearing about it. We will fail the board if it's overetched and replace it immediately. Because of the inconvenience we've caused you, I would like to offer you 25% credit towards your future order with value up tp $350. Let me know when you're ready to use this money. I look forward to serving you again soon! Sincerely, Trish Maglanoc E-TekNet, Inc.
