I have found that Multisim has a free version !
I did not know that until today. I just installed it and i made a test
with my latest pain in the brain : op-amps
Turns out that it is a great piece of software for the ones trying to
learn electronics like i am. I posted a screenshot with the proof you
need about 2V headroom for TL072 to work correctly. Olin, you were
right again :-)
In the picture i have a function generator set to a max. amplitude of
600mV and the gain of opamp is ~4.7. Anything more than this and i
start to get clipped output.
