Hi Stef, Ian did an article on how to build an Ethernet development board for the PIC's, you can find the wiring he used at http://www.piccoder.co.uk/content/view/39/26/ Mat -----Original Message----- From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] On Behalf Of Stef Mientki Sent: 23 July 2006 09:07 To: Microcontroller discussion list - Public. Subject: [PIC] Ethernet wiring ENC28J60 ? I just have done some tests with the ENC28J60 and an external loopback wire. Reading the errata (B2,7 and B4,7) and having trouble receiving my own packages, I discovered that the schematic at page 7 might not be correct. Because of the errata it's important to choose the right polarity. On the web I find most wiring schematics (numbers refer to RJ45 connector) 1 = T- 2 = T+ 3 = R- 4 = R+ As most of theses websites are meant for making these cables, I'm not sure wheter these websites are correct or page 7 of the ENC-manual is correct. Please can someone enlighten me. thanks, Stef Mientki -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
