MPLAB 7.5 or 7.6 should fix this... By the way, MPLAB 7.4 support
programming and debugging using PICKit 2 with 16F917.

In order to add your wisp628 programmer to MPLAB, you will need to
contact Microchip and sign an NDA to get the plug-in specification. This
is the information I get from Microchip Forum.
