However farang is pronounced I would definitely qualify, having never been there myself. Perhaps the word is the basis for the Ferengi of Star Trek, The Next Generation. Perhaps that is how they would see me if I were to visit. Anyway, wrapping up - Raymond Scott and Bob Moog were two electronic music pioneers - close to the metal guys, unfortunately both deceased.
