BTW, and FWIW, I've only ever heard (in Germany) the "Moo-g" version. (With "oo" as in "stooges"...) It's highly likely though that nobody of those from whom I heard it had ever known Mr. Moog :) -- even though it is somewhat likely that some of them had been in contact with US musicians and talked about the Moog with them.
