Does "anything at random" include "target not in debug mode" about 90% of the
time?   'Cuz if so, I might have to try 7.4 myself.  I try not to upgrade 
for as
long as possible because of stuff like this happening.  I stuck with an earlier
7.x for the longest time, then going to 7.3, this is the thanks I got.
