My most recently discovered Windows bug is similar to the others described here. It happens on my laptop when I'm attaching a projector to show a presentation or something:- Step 1) Get laptop up and running as it can take a couple of minutes... and you want everything to be ready when you're doing a presentation. Step 2) Step up to do the presentation Step 3) Methodically turn laptop around, hold with left hand while plugging in projector VGA lead with right hand. Step 4) Turn laptop around again... just in time to see and hear Windows shutting down... too late. Grrrr. I've done this about 3 times now, and no service packs seem to address the problem. On closer analysis it is found that left thumb presses power button! :-) -- Brent Brown, Electronic Design Solutions 16 English Street, St Andrews, Hamilton 3200, New Zealand Ph: +64 7 849 0069 Fax: +64 7 849 0071 Cell: 027 433 4069 eMail: brent.brown@clear.net.nz -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
