The problem is, I can't find an easy way to integrate it into MPLAB, which 
makes it a bit of a pain to use...

What I'd like to do is have MPLAB feed the .aspic file to the preprocessor, 
then feed the resulting .asm file to MPASM. Unfortunately it seems Microchip 
won't release the info needed to do that :-/
