Indeed.
And a 'real' scientist would be the first to agree.
'Scientifically proven' means [using the 'real' definition of Science =

:-) ] "The outputs of the empirical model that we have iteratively =

developed using negative feedback are now found to correspond to those =

produced by reality a large proportion of the time". Under the same =

scheme it NEVER means "We are now certain that this is how it works =

and always will". Alas, under all the other definitions of Science it =

can mean anything one wishes.
